According to dietary supplement, health and education act (DSHEA) dietary supplements are products intended to supplement the diet that bears or contains one or more of the following dietary ingredients: a vitamin, a mineral, an herb or other botanical, an amino acid, a dietary substance for use by man to supplement the diet by increasing the total daily intake, or a concentrate, metabolite, constituent, extract, or combinations of these ingredients

Nutraceuticals is a term used to describe any product derived from food sources that provides extra health benefits in addition to the basic nutritional value found in foods. Products typically claim to prevent chronic diseases, improve health, delay the aging process, and increase life expectancy.

Why nutraceuticals……………?

The regular consumption of synthetic drug may cause organ failure and so many other after effects.
Numerous epidemiological studies suggest that the risks for  many chronic diseases are diet related and could be decreased significantly through the change of dietary habits.

Dietary fibers:-Fibers are non- digestible polysaccharides found in plant cell wlls, fibers which we eat in diet are called dietary fibers, insufficient intake of fibers cause Constipation, Colorectal cancer etc..

Omega 3 fatty acids (Poly unsaturated Fatty Acids PUFA):present in various vegetable and marine animals,ex.,mustarad oil, cod liver, fish liver oil, they helps in prevention of cholesterol formation/deposition.(EPA,DHA)

Antioxidants :-Most importantly reactive oxygen species (ROS) and other free radicals. These species are continuously produced during physiological cellular metabolism. To counteract the harmful effects of ROS, Vitamin C. Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) antioxidant system to maintain equilibrium between the pro-oxidants, or damaging agents,

COW’S URINE IN CANCER THERAPY

COW’S URINE IN CANCER THERAPY

The word cancer is derived from Latin for CRAB, Hindi KARKA or KEKRA; it means new growth in Greek.

Constant exposure to thousands of chemicals from birth onward, electromagnetic radiation, air and water pollution and other toxins leads to the creation of too many free Radicals and excessive number of cancerous cells.

It is estimated over 700,000 (7lakh) cases of Cancer patients and over 40,000 cases of Cancer in children are being reported in India every year. Cancer is conventionally treated with Surgery, Radiation therapy and Chemotherapy.

However statistics indicate that these treatments are limited in their effectiveness to treat Cancer and are riddled with side effects.

Antioxidant effect
Bioenhancer property

PROCESSING OF COW URINE

Take 1 meter x 0.5 meter cotton cloth of good quality through which only water can be filtered and foreign material is left.

Make its 8 folds after washing it properly. Keep it over a steel or glass jar. Pour the fresh cow-urine already collected.

The cloth should be washed again thoroughly preferably in hot water and kept on another Jar

The first time filtered cow urine is poured in next cup.

In this way the urine is filtered 8 times by changing the cloth from one Jar / Cup to another.

Every time the cloth & cup should be washed thoroughly.

Now this urine is ready for use.

Cow urine never deteriorates when stored for a longer period of time.
For preservation from the dust cow urine should be covered nicely with neat and clean cloth and cotton.

Dose of Cow Urine: The general dose of the cow urine is 25ml at a time. The 8 time filtered urine is given, 10 ml. to children, 20 ml. to adults in the beginning. Later on the dose can be increased to 50 ml.

FUTURE PROSPECTIVE:

Studies shows that cow urine plays a significant role in the treatment of Cancer, AIDS and many more untreatable diseases.

But a lot of research is required for proper study in relevant area.

Recently there are two patents granted on cow urine they are patent 6410059 and patent 7235262.

Cow urine is also effective when it is prescribed in combination with Allopathic and Ayurvedic medicines.
