Simple Remedies for Cold and Cough

fluctuated, there by people gets suffer with common cold, and cough. With the
simple these Green remedies if we follow in home we can get relaxation and we
can do our daily activities without any disturbances

Common table salt:
Gargle
with salt dissolved in warm water. The salt in the water can help drain excess
fluid from inflamed areas in the throat reducing the symptoms when you feel
soreness in your throat.

Ginger tea:
Drink ginger tea,
by extracting ginger juice in to water it acts as a decongestant.
3. Lemon juice with water and honey: It soothes sore throat, boosts vitamin C intake
and releases excess cough and cold.
4. Tulsi and long pepper:
Take Tulsi and long
pepper in equal portions and ground together take the mixture of Tulsi and long
pepper mass in a spherical small ball like portions for easy to swallow
purpose, 3-4 times daily. Tulsi has antiviral. Long pepper relieves
inflammation.
5. Honey: Honey has been known to soothe the
irritated throat linings and thus, has been used as an ayurvedic remedy for
cough since ages.
6. Fresh ginger: For a dry cough, one of the
easiest ways of finding relief is to cut a piece of fresh ginger, sprinkle some
salt on it and chew on it for a few minutes.
7. Jaggery: Make a decoction by boiling black pepper
powder with water for about 15-20 minutes; mix in a little cumin powder and
jaggery and drink. relives cough and expels sputum.
8. Peppermint: Menthol in peppermint
soothes the throat and acts as a decongestant, helping to break down mucus. You
can benefit by drinking peppermint tea, or by inhaling peppermint vapors from a
steam bath.
